Paw Diary

Run your dog walking round without the paper diary

Paw Diary keeps your walks, clients, dogs and invoices in one place — on your phone, out on the round.

No card needed to start. Free for up to 3 clients after the trial, £9.99 a month for unlimited.

The Paw Diary home screen, showing today's walks with times and prices

Sound familiar?

A diary in the van, codes in your notes, the rest in WhatsApp

It works. Until the diary gets wet, a client asks which Thursday you cancelled, or you notice you haven't invoiced anyone since the 12th.

Paw Diary is built for one person running their own round — not for a company with an office and a receptionist. Everything is where you left it, and it's the same on your phone as it is at the kitchen table.

What you get

The parts of the job that aren't walking dogs

A diary that fits the work

Day, week or month. Open it first thing and today's walks are there in order, with the dogs, the address and whatever you need to know before you knock.

Every dog on file

Breed, age, quirks, allergies, medication, the vet. Their owner's emergency contact sits alongside, so it's there on the day something goes wrong.

Regulars book themselves in

Set “Bella, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11” once. Those walks fill your diary eight weeks ahead and keep going, so you're not rewriting the same week every week.

Invoices from walks you did

Pick a month and it builds the invoice from the walks already in the diary. Mark it sent, record the payment, see what's still owed. VAT handled if you're registered.

A portal for your clients

They can check their upcoming walks, ask for a new one and see their invoices without texting you at ten at night. You approve it, decline it, or suggest a different time.

Walk reports

Send a few lines and a couple of photos after a walk. Owners like getting them, and it heads off the “how was she?” message later on.

What it looks like

Six screens you'll actually use

Paw Diary: the week at a glance

The week at a glance

Recurring walks fill themselves in. Time off is blocked out and stops taking bookings.

Paw Diary: everything about the dog

Everything about the dog

Keysafe code, access notes, vet, medication — on the screen you're already looking at.

Paw Diary: invoices from real walks

Invoices from real walks

Built from what you actually did, with your own cancellation policy applied.

Paw Diary: your client's own page

Your client's own page

Their walks, their invoices, and a way to ask for a change that isn't a text at 10pm.

Paw Diary: a quick word after the walk

A quick word after the walk

How it went, in a sentence. Sent by email and shown in their portal.

Paw Diary: today, one walk at a time

Today, one walk at a time

What's on now, what's next, and what the day is worth.

Out on the round

It lives on your phone, not in a filing cabinet

Add it to your home screen and it opens like any other app — no App Store, nothing to update. It was designed for one thumb and a lead in the other hand.

Today's walks and your emergency details stay available even with no signal, which matters more in the woods than it does at home.

  • Works on iPhone and AndroidIt’s a website, so there’s nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
  • Still there without signalToday’s round and emergency contacts are kept on the phone itself.
  • One tap to call or messageClient and vet numbers dial straight from the booking.
  • Your own calendar tooConfirmed walks can sync to Google or Outlook automatically.

Keys, codes and emergencies

The details you can't afford to lose

Keysafe codes are encrypted, and every time one is shown it's recorded. There's a key register for whose keys you're holding and which tag they're on, so handing them back at the end doesn't come down to memory.

Vet and emergency contact details sit one tap from the booking, with consent to treat recorded where the owner has given it. It's the screen you hope not to need.

Pricing

£9.99 a month. Free if you've three clients or fewer.

Everything is included on both — there's no cut-down version. The only difference is how many active clients you can have.

Free

£0

Up to 3 active clients, with every feature. Good for starting out, or for a round you keep small on purpose.

Pro

£9.99 a month

Unlimited clients. VAT included in the price, and you can cancel whenever you like.

Every account starts with 14 days of Pro, so you can put your whole round in and see if it suits you before deciding. If you don't subscribe, nothing is deleted — your three most recently walked clients stay active and the rest become read-only until you come back.

Put your round in and see how it feels

14 days, everything unlocked, no card. If it isn't for you, do nothing and it drops to the free plan on its own.
